Spicy peach, burrata and herb salad with garlicky croutons

When every element of the salad has had a flavor upgrade, you can’t help but crave this salad. The croutons are rubbed with fresh garlic. The Peaches? Marinated AND grilled. The herbs? 2 types. And do you even need a sauce when you have delicious creamy burrata already? Why the heck not. My little helper was stealing bits off the table as I was photographing this dish, and didn’t seem to mind the spice at all.

Cajun shrimp cocktail - but a dip!

This really is a version of shrimp cocktail, if you get down to the bare bones of it. Sharing this with my parents to the sound of hadidas and birds coming home to roost is the best memory I could have hoped for, and the best meal to fit the occasion <3

Slow cooked lamb ragu with unsweetened chocolate

Good ingredients in, good result out. That’s what I learnt as I wrote this recipe. Choose a nice, fatty slow-cooking lamb from the butchers counter, choose the best tomatoes, use decent wine. And add chocolate - you won’t regret it… The result is a rich, deeply flavorful meaty lamb ragu, with rosemary top notes, unctuously coating each and every pasta strand. It will leave you licking the plate!
